TENNIS MIXERS AND LEAGUES 2024
Tennis Mixers and Leagues will begin the first week of May 2024. All Mixers and Leagues are open to non-members to play in. Each Mixer and League has a volunteer organizer to put players into groups. It’s not necessary to show up for every mixer and league, but you may move down to a lower court in the league if you do not attend consistently.
Mixers are more casual and keeping score is not a priority. Everyone mixes and matches throughout the duration of the mixer. Doubles is played in all of the mixers, but if there is an open court, players sitting off can play singles.
Leagues are more competitive. Players are placed on a ladder and score is recorded every league night. The group you play in each week will depend on your score from the previous week. Players who do not attend consistently will move down.

Sign-up Deadline: Show up 10 minutes before the scheduled time to sign in at the front desk.

*Note: An Open House is planned towards the end of May. Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement. This will be a great opportunity for non-members to try out our tennis courts and participate in some of our programming.
SATURDAY MORNING MIXER
When: Saturday
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Courts: TBD
Cost: $12 for non-members and players who do not have a Full Tennis membership.
Sign-up Deadline: Sign-up to the Straw Poll here. Sign in at the front desk before heading out on court.
Start Date: Saturday, April 13, 2024.

TUESDAY COMPETITIVE DOUBLES
When: Tuesday
Time: 7:00-10:00pm
Courts: All Courts
Cost: $20 for non-members and players who do not have a Full Tennis membership.
Sign-up Deadline: 6:30pm every Tuesday. Call us at (306) 242-5584 or sign your name on the league sheet at the front desk by the deadline.
Start Date: Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
SINGLES BOX LEAGUE
Each box will be a Round Robin with three other players of similar skill level. You must arrange and play one match against each person within your box before the deadline date provided (4-5 weeks per round). Matches can be played any day and time that works for both players’ schedules. At the end of the round players will be reorganized into new boxes based on the results. Players may withdraw or join before the start a round but will not be allowed to join during a round.

QUESTIONS
Do I Need a Partner?
A partner is not required. Just bring yourself! For leagues, players are placed on a ladder where your partner and group is chosen by the organizer for the league. Your placement will depend on how well you do each week. Scores will be kept for each league.
For mixers, players will mix and match with each other.
What Equipment Do I Need?
Comfortable tennis attire, court shoes, a tennis racquet, tennis balls, and a water bottle is recommended. Players take turns providing tennis balls, which can be purchased for $6.50+gst inside the club.
*tennis racquets can be rented out for $2 for the day.
Do I Need a Membership to Play?
Being a member is not a requirement to play at our club. Mixers cost non-members $10 per visit and leagues $15 per visit. Take a look at our membership pricing here to see if it’s worth it for you to purchase one.
Where Can I Keep My Belongings?
Aside from keeping your bag on court, you can place your belongings in a locker in one of our changerooms for the duration of your visit. Players are to provide their own lock.
What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Members can load money onto their account to make purchases quicker.
